Wilaya of Awserd (Refugee Camps), 20 May 2014 (SPS) – The Wilaya of Awserd, refugee camps, hosted Tuesday the official celebrations commemorating the 41 th anniversary of the launch of the armed struggle, in the presence of Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar and members of the National Secretariat, the government and the National Council.
The celebrations were marked by folkloric displays and the opening of traditional congregation reflecting the customs and traditions of the Saharawi people.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated a sewing workshop of the workers regional branch bearing the name " Gdeim Izik".
The celebrations will continue this evening with organising sports activities and concert. (SPS)
