El Aaiun (occupied territories), April 16, 2014 (SPS) - Moroccan occupying authorities expelled Tuesday a Spanish women delegation from the airport of the occupied city of El Aaiun, capital of Western Sahara.
Consisted of 2 women representing MUNDUBAT and CEAS-Sahara as well as an MP, the delegation was intending to participate at the demonstrations that took place yesterday in the occupied city of El Aaiun, which called for self-determination of the Saharawi people and extension of MINURSO mandate to include human rights monitoring in Western Sahara.
In relevant context, a similar delegation of four members was also expelled last night.
On current April 11th, Moroccan authorities prevented the access into Western Sahara of a Spanish human rights delegation. (SPS)
