Roma, March 3, 2014(SPS)- A delegation of the Polisario Front led by Deputy Minister for Europe Mr. Mohamed Sidati attended the congress for the launch European elections campaign, held in the Italian capital, Rome, February 27 to March 1, at the invitation of the European Socialist Party, according to Sahrawi diplomatic sources.
The Saharawi delegation made contacts with Martin Schultz, the current president of the European Parliament and the Socialist candidate for the European Commission president, as well as several European leaders to discuss the grave situation as a result of the illegal occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco.
The Polisario Front deputy representative in Italy, Fatima Mahfud, took part in the annual conference of the European Socialist Women held at the headquarters of the Italian Democratic Party. SPS
