Shaheed El Hafed, February 8, 2014 (SPS) - More than 300 participants from more than 20 countries are expected to take part in the 14th edition of the Sahara Marathon, besides 100 Sahrawi runners , according to the organizers.
The organizers confirmed that the participants are from Algeria , Poland, Germany , Austria , Belgium, Canada , China , Colombia , Slovakia , France , Britain , the Netherlands , Ireland , Lithuania, Malaysia , Norway , Romania , South Africa , Sweden , Switzerland , USA , Ecuador , Spain and Italy.
It should be mentioned that this sports demonstration coincides with the 38th anniversary of the proclamation of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and will be on four stages : 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 5 km, February 24th, through the Wilayas of El Aaiun, Smara and Awserd. (SPS)
