African Coordination of Solidarity with the Saharawi people installed in Algiers

ALGIERS, December 15, 2013 (SPS)  - The African Coordination of Solidarity with the Saharawi people, called "African Task Force" was installed Saturday in Algiers, in accordance with the recommendations of the African Conference in support of the Saharawi cause, held last October in Abuja (Nigeria).

 

This African coordination was set up a few hours before the opening of the "4th International Conference on the Rights of Peoples to Resistance: The Case of the Saharawi people."

 

The installation of this African Task Force took place in the presence of representatives of civil society, political parties and MPs from several African countries, including Algeria, Kenya, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, Angola and Namibia.
