Africa is not free as long as Morocco occupies Western Sahara, says Namibian Minister

Quito, Dec 10, 2013 (SPS) - “Africa will not enjoy freedom as long as Western Sahara occupied by the Kingdom of Morocco,” said Mr. Jerry Ekandjo, Minister of Youth, National Service, Sport and Culture of Namibia, During a breakfast hosted by the Ecuadorian Foreign Minister in honour of the official delegations present at the 18th World Festival of Youth and Students, taking place in Quito, capital of Ecuador.


The Namibian minister expressed his country’s firm support to the just struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.


He also renewed his country’s positions of support to the liberation issues in the world, adding that Africa “will remain true to its principles in advocating for peoples’ rights to freedom and independence.” (SPS)
