President of Republic attends Nelson Mandela memorial service

Johannesburg, Dec 10, 2013 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz has attended along with more than 100 world leaders the official memorial service, took place today morning at FNB Stadium (Soccer City) in Johannesburg, of the deceased South African leader Nelson Mandela.


The memorial service of Nelson Mandela was started with the South African anthem, to be followed by speeches delivered by a number of world heads of State and Government and international personalities, led by the President Mohamed Abdelaziz.


At an official invitation by his South African counterpart H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma, the Saharawi President arrived today morning in Johannesburg to take part at Mandela’s official memorial ceremony.


He is accompanied by a delegation composed of Mr. Abdati Breika, Advisor to the Presidency, Mr. Salha Al-Abd, Ambassador in South Africa, Mr. Abba Al-Mad, member of SADR mission to the AU, and Mr. El-Mami Brahim, Advisor to the embassy in South Africa. (SPS)
