President of Republic travels to South Africa to attend Mandela’s funeral (Official)

Shaheed El Hafed (Sahrawi refugee camps), December 8, 2013 (SPS) – President of the Republic Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz  travels Monday to South Africa, heading an important delegation, to participate in Nelson Mandela’s funeral cermonies, said an official source from the Presidency of the Republic.

 

The Presidency of the Republic had declared three days of mourning following the death of the global African icon, Nelson Mandela, died Thursday at 95 at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

The state funeral and burial for Nelson Mandela will be held in his rural hometown of Qunu in the Eastern Cape Province on Sunday Dec. 15.

 

It should be mentioned that South Africa recognizes the SADR and establishes relations with it at the ambassadorial level since 2004. (SPS)
