Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 07 Dec 2013 (SPS) - A Saharawi delegation, composed of diplomats and members of the Saharawi community in Ethiopia, visited the South African Embassy, on Saturday morning to present the condolences and solidarity of the Saharawi people and Government to the people and Government of South Africa for the loss of the African leader and Icon of freedom and liberation, Nelson Mandela.
The delegation was headed by the Saharawi Minister in Charge of Africa, Hamdi Baiha, the Saharawi Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the AU, Lamine Baali, the First Secretary of the Saharawi Embassy, Babab Bardi, in addition to members of the Saharawi community in Addis Ababa.
The members of the delegation were received by South African Ambassador and Representative to the AU and UNECA, H.E. Ndumiso Ntshinga, to whom they expressed support, and solidarity with the people of South Africa, Africa and the world for this great loss.
The members of the delegation presented their respect in front of the Photo of the late Nelson Mandela, and wrote words of condolences and solidarity in the Condolence Book opened in the South African Embassy.
It should be recalled that the Saharawi President, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has sent a letter of condolences to his South African counterpart, Jacob Zuma, to present the condolences and grief of the Saharawi people and government, knowing that the SADR has decreed a three days morning on Nelson Mandela in Western Sahara.
