Polisario Front renews Saharawis’ will to achieve freedom and independence

June 9th School (Saharawi refugee camps), Nov 28, 2013 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz has reiterated Saharawi people’s will to consolidate their gains in order to recover their national sovereignty, calling on the Saharawi people to unite and mobilize around the national institutions.


In a speech he delivered today morning marking the 38th anniversary of the creation of the Saharawi National Council, President Mohamed Abdelaziz emphasized that the responsibility lies today with the Saharawis requires “the consolidation of the gains that have been attained so far, through more struggle, steadfastness and resistance.”


He also urged all the Saharawis to mobilize around their national institutions so to be able to play its full role in the liberation war, as in the future Saharawi independent state.


It should be recalled that the Saharawi National Council was created on November 28, 1975 after the dissolution of the Saharawi Assembly, formed by Spanish colonization in 1966. (SPS)
