Submitted on

Algiers, Nov 16, 2013 (SPS) - Office of the Saharawi students studying in Algeria has launched an international campaign against the renewal of the EU-Moroccan fesheries pact, reported a Saharawi student source.

This campaign aims to call on the European Parliament to refrain from renewing the fishing agreement with Morocco, which includes the territorial waters of Western Sahara.

It will be marked by the participation of international students unions in solidarity with the Saharawi cause from Algeria, Spain and France.

The organizers of this campaign seek to collect as many signatures as possible against the draft protocol to the agreement, according to the same source. (SPS)
