Algiers, Nov 13, 2013 (SPS) - A delegation representing the Algerian civil society, including the Algerian National Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi People (CNASPS), will participate Friday and Saturday in Rome at European Conference of Coordination and Support to the Saharawi people (EUCOCO).

The members of the Algerian delegation "will discuss and think with their counterparts from around the world about issues related to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, information, natural resources looting, violations of human rights and humanitarian assistance to the Saharawi refugees," said CNASPS Wednesday in a statement.

Participants will also discuss "issues related to Sahrawi youth, the Sahrawi woman, sports, culture and solidarity of the international trade union movement."

Members of the Council of Nation and the People's National Assembly also participate in the conference and participants will meet with their colleagues around the implementation of "programs of support and solidarity to help meet the legitimate claims of Sahrawis to freely choose their destiny," the statement concluded.
