EUCOCO 2013, an occasion to demonstrate extent of international support to Sahrawi cause, says Mr. Ghali

Algiers, Nov 13, 2013 (SPS) - The 38th European Conference of Coordination and Support to the Saharawi People (EUCOCO), planned from 15 to 16 November in Rome, constitutes an occasion to show the extend of the international support to the Sahrawi cause, declared Wednesday Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) to Algeria, Brahim Ghali.
 

"The Saharawi cause now enjoys an increasingly strong international support with respect to its rightfulness. Demonstrations as EUCOCO provide an opportunity to demonstrate it," he told APS.
 

This EUCOCO new edition will be held in particular international situation marked in particular by "increased voice in the world," calling for respect for human rights in Western Sahara occupied territories and the establishment of an international mechanism for monitoring and surveillance of human rights in this region.
 

According to him, EUCOCO, held annually since 1976 in European cities, has become over time a European meeting in an international meeting to support the Saharawi people.
 

"We expect from this conference the planning of concrete actions to help our people (Western Sahara) to finally successfully end their fight and determine their own destiny as stipulated by international law," said the Saharawi Ambassador. (SPS)
