SADR ambassador to Mozambique presents his credentials

Maputo, Oct 19, 2013 (SPS) - Mr. Wadadi Cheikh Ahmed Lheiba presented Wednesday his credentials to H.E. Mr. Armando Emílio Guebuza, President of Mozambique, as an extraordinary ambassador of the Saharawi Republic (SADR) to this African country.


The ceremony was also attended by the Foreign Minister, as well as the advisors and assistants at the Mozambican Presidency.


In a meeting after the presentation of credentials, Mozambican President reaffirmed his country’s firm position with the just struggle of Saharawi people, denouncing Morocco’s rigid position.


Saharawi Ambassador, for his part, informed Mr. Guebuza about the latest developments on Saharawi issue, before conveying the greetings of the President Mohamed Abdelaziz, Saharawi Republic government and POLISARIO leadership to Mozambique Liberation Front “FRELIMO” and government of the Republic of Mozambique.


Saharawi ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Sid Mhamed Ahmed, First Secretary at SADR embassy. (SPS)
