President of Republic felicitates Mauritanian counterpart on Eid al-Adha

Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), Oct 14, 2013 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz has sent a letter of felicitation to Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, 15 October 2013.


“As the Islamic nation receives Eid al-Adha Mubarak (blessed), I am pleased to express to you, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people and government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), my sincere and best wishes, praying to Allah the Almighty and Exalted to bring goodness, happiness and blessings for us and the Islamic nation as a whole, as well as for the brotherly people of Mauritania with progress and prosperity,” writes the Saharawi President to his Mauritanian counterpart.


The President went on saying that the Saharawi people “seize this joyous occasion to send warm salutations and sincere congratulations to their Mauritanian brothers, and to renew their determination to move forward in consolidating the strong ties that bind our brotherly peoples.”


“I take this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency our hard keenness to deepen and consolidate the ties of brotherhood, neighborliness and cooperation between our two brotherly countries, and to seek through it to achieve the shared interests and aspirations of our two peoples to enjoy their legitimate right to development, prosperity, live in dignity, security and stability in the region,” he concluded.
