New York, Sept 29, 2013 (SPS) - The President of the Republic of South Africa Mr. Jacob Zuma emphasized, in his speech before the 68th session of UN General Assembly, that his country’s struggle for freedom “is not complete until the people of Palestine and Western Sahara enjoy their right to self-determination.”

“As we celebrate our freedom and democracy we remain mindful that our struggle is not complete until the people of Palestine and Western Sahara enjoy their right to self-determination,” said H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa.

He also expressed hope that the United Nations would be at the forefront of efforts towards self-determination for the peoples of Palestine and Western Sahara, as it did with South Africa. (SPS)
