Moroccan Appeal Court in Agadir postpones verdict against six Saharawi prisoners

Agadir, Sept 20, 2013 (SPS) - The Moroccan Court of Appeal in the city of Agadir postponed Thursday to September 26th the ruling against six Saharawi activists, arrested following Gleimim events, said a source of the Saharawi Ministry of Occupied Territories and Diaspora.


The trial attended by families of the detainees and a number of Saharawi activists of human rights.


The case goes back to mid-August last year, after violent clashes erupted between Moroccan occupation authorities and Saharawi civilians during a football match.


The Moroccan Court of First Instance in Gleimim has previously sentenced Omar and his brother Tah Daoudi to ten months in prison, Omar Lauaisid to eight months in prison and Hamza Bazi, Babia Bahdach and Ohsein Mustafa to four months in prison. (SPS)
