“Sons of the Clouds” and “Gdeim izik” will attend the 15th International Film and Human Rights Festival

Buenos Aires, August 07,2013 (SPS) - The documentaries "Sons of the Clouds. The Last Colony ", by Alvaro Longoria and Javier Bardem, and the documentary" Gdeim Izik, camp of the Sahrawi resistance ",by Lluís M. Güell-, will be screened as part of the 15th Film and Human Rights Festival From 07 to 14 August, which will also orgnize a Table Discussion on the Sahrawi issue next Tuesday with presence of  Bachir Salem, Representative of the SADR and Polisario Front in Argentina.

 

According to the organizers, "the International Film Festival of Human Rights, organized by the Multimedia DerHumALC, held its fifteenth edition from  7 to 14 August, 2013 in the City of Buenos Aires.

 

For 15 years, the goal of the International Film Festival of Human Rights is to present the best achievements covering all social problems related to the defense of human rights and the environment from multiple and original perspectives, thus promoting a critic theater which contributes to social transformation.

 

In this fifteenth edition of the Festival the traditional sections, namely, Memory, Gender Perspectives, Children and Youth, Migrants, Panorama, Environment and Indigenous Peoples adopted as transform thematic approach, art for social change, establishing in this way a space where they reflect on the changes that may lead art and creation in its many manifestations.
