"violent" Assault against Saharawi political prisoner Kamal Traih in Lakhal jail in occupied Laiun

Occupied Laiun, 27 June, 2013 (SPS) - The Sahrawi human rights activist and political prisoner Kamal Traih has experienced on Wednesday physical "violent" assault by Lakhal  jail agent in the occupied city of Laiun , leading to his injury at the level of the hands, as was reported by the Ministry of occupied territories and communities.

 

The source added that the Saharawi political prisoner Kamal Traih has been threaten that he would be put in a solitary confinement by the prison administration.

 

Kamal Traih is a Sahrawi human rights activist, who had been unfairly and harshly sentenced to duration of 03 years in prison by occupied Moroccan court on September 25, 2012, in retaliation for him because of his pro-right to self-determination of the Saharawi people and his human rights activities. He had been arbitrarily arrested after the backdrop of armed attack by Moroccan militias against Sahrawi residents of the called Wakala district, in occupied Dakhla on September 2011. (SPS)
