Transferring Saharawi political prisoner Yahya Mohamed Hafed to hospital

Ait Melloul (Morocco), June 12, 2013 (SPS) – The Moroccan Ait Melloul prison Administration has Transferred today, Wednesday,  The Sahrawi human rights defender, Yahya Mohamed Hafed to the Aianczykan regional hospital, as reported by the Ministry of the occupied territory an communities

 

The source explained that the prison’s administration was forced to take him to the hospital as he suffers from critical health conditions. He suffers from pain at the level of the intestines, digestive system and hemorrhoids.

 

The same source added that he was Closely monitored inside the hospital and in the way between the local jail and the regional hospital by elements of the Moroccan gendarmerie and staff members of the prison administration.

 

It should be recalled that Yahya Mohamed El Hafed is serving a harsh custodial sentence penalty of 15 years in prison because of his position on the issue of Western Sahara and his human rights activities, after being arrested arbitrarily since March 01, 2008 from inside his shop in Tantan city in southern Morocco.(SPS)
