Minister of Employment, Training and Public Function on a working visit in Mexico

Mexico, June 05, 2013 (SPS) - The Minister for Employment, Training and Public Function, Jira Bulahi, began Tuesday a working visit to the United States of Mexico, as reported today by the Embassy of the Saharawi Republic in Mexico

 

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Function of Mexico, Jira Bulahi met Ms. Teresa Gómez del Campo, Head of the Policy Unit of Transparency and International Cooperation in the Ministry, and Ms. Soledad Murgan Eguilior, Deputy General Director, among other .

 

The meeting took on a friendly and fruitful atmosphere, resulting in a number of commitments to be carried out between the two ministries.

 

Yesterday afternoon, Jira Bulahe had a meeting with Senator Diva H. Gastelum Low, President of the National Women's PRI, President of the Network of Women Parliamentarians of the Americas and vice president of the Socialist International Women.

 

During the meeting they reviewed the results of the meeting of the Socialist International Women which the two had attended , the historical relationship between the Institutional Revolutionary Party and the Frente POLISARIO, as well as agreeing upon several programs to be developed.

 

At both meetings the Minister Jira Bulahi reported on the situation in Western Sahara, and the ordeal that carried every day in the occupied areas against the Saharawi population facing Moroccan military and police repression.

 

She also made official invitations to visit the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. (SPS)
