Moroccan forces continues its operations of kidnapping in occupied Smara

Smara (occupied territories), June 1, 2013 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation forces kidnapped Thursday dawn at 03:00 two young Saharawis in the occupied city of Smara, on the ground of their participation at the demonstrations that took place in the occupied city on 24-25 May 2013.


SPS correspondent in the occupied city of Smara reported that Moroccan security forces kidnapped Bachir Karum and Lehbib Siba from the house of Mbarek family, near the old mosque, before being driven to unknown destination.


This act is a part of a wave of kidnapping and raids to houses of the Saharawi citizens in the occupied city of Smara, being carried out by Moroccan security forces for the fifth consecutive day.


On relevant context, Moroccan authorities have cut this month´s salaries of a group of Saharawi citizens in the same city, after they participated at the continued demonstrations calling for self-determination, informed the correspondent of SPS.


Some Saharawi citizens told SPS correspondent that they went on 31 May 2013 to the so-called “Moroccan Commissariat of El-Inaach (Resuscitation)” to take their monthly salaries of fare recovery, before being informed that their salaries have been cut.


According to a preliminary list reached SPS, this procedure targeted Nathira Meilad, Bakara Sid Ahmed Mhamad, Al-Nata Abdullah Nafaa, Dadah Mohammed Moulud Ahmaiam, Bachri Ahmed Fakou and Embarak Mohamed Salem. (S)
