Boujdour (Saharawi refugee camps), 14 May, 2013 (SPS) - National Union of Sahrawi Women and the National Union of Algerian women have signed Monday, in boujdour, 5 twinning treaties, as the embodiment of the treaties and recommendations made during the international symposium to support the resistance of Sahrawi women lasting from 18 to 21 April, in the Sahrawi refugee camps and Algeria.
According to a statement issued by the National Union of Sahrawi Women the 5 treaties signed as follows: Women mandate of Boujdour with the women of the wilaya of Algiers, women of El-Aiun with the Middle Algerian women mandate, women of Smara with the women of the Algerian west states, Women of Ausarad with women of the Algerian southern states.
The source explained that these Treaties will form "the practical framework for many of the future joint programs in order to raise the level of women in the two countries and the common struggle for freedom, dignity and peace-building in the region."
It should be recalled that an Algerian delegation reached the camps, last Sunday, representing the National Union of Algerian women in order to reflect the treaties and recommendations made during the International Symposium in support of Sahrawi women's resistance held between 18 and 21 April 2013.
The Algerian Women delegation handed convoy support to the Saharawi refugee camps, directed to support the families of martyrs. (SPS)
