Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), May 12, 2013 (SPS) - The President of Cuba Mr. Raúl Castro Ruz has felicitated the President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the POLISARIO Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Frente POLISARIO, reiterating commitment to continue supporting the Saharawi people’s inalienable right to self-determination.
“On this important occasion, I would like to extend to you my sincere congratulations, on behalf of the Cuban people and government, as to affirm our commitment to continue to support the inalienable right of the brotherly Saharawi people to self-determination, independence and sovereignty,” wrote Mr. Castro.
The Cuban President underlined that he received with satisfaction a letter dated April 16, 2013, which extends the invitation for a delegation of Cuban government to attend the celebrations of the fortieth anniversary of the creation of the Frente POLISARIO.
He added that he appointed the Ambassador Eumelio Caballero Rodríguez to represent Cuba in this occasion. (SPS)
