Prime Minister of Lesotho pays an official visit to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic

Bir Lahlou, May 8, 2013 (SPS)- The Prime Minister of the kingdom of Lesotho, HON. Motsoahae Thomas Thabane, will pay an official visit to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic from May 9 to May 11. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a very high level delegation, including a number of Ministers and high level official in the Government of the brotherly people of Lesotho, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic

 

 

The statement stated that “The delegation will be received by President Mohamed Abdelaziz”.

 

 

“The Lesotho delegation will also meet with the Prime Minister and other members of the Sahrawi Government. Lesotho Prime Minister will also address the Sahrawi National Council in an extraordinary session” Says the statement

 

 

“The delegation will also visit the Sahrawi willayas, and other national institutions to be acquainted with the achievements the Sahrawi people have made all along their national liberation struggle” added the same statement

 

 

The Kingdom of Lesotho is located in the South of the Continent, and is among the first countries that recognized the Sahrawi Republic, and is bound to her by historical diplomatic relations that translate the brotherhood and solidarity based on a common history in the struggle against colonialism and Apartheid. The Kingdom of Lesotho and the Sahrawi Republic work hand in hand for the strenghting of bilateral relations in periodical political consultation in the framework of the African Union in the interest of integration, development and security in the Continent.(SPS)
