Moroccan authorities arrest Saharawi students

Zag (south Morocco), April 3, 2013 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation authorities arrested on Tuesday three Saharawi students in the city of Zag, south of Morocco, after they participated in the burning of the so-called Bachawya more than a month ago, informed the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.


The three students are; Ahmed Abd Addaiam, Mohamed Ali Abd Addaiam and Ali Balgiz.


According to the source, the students had investigated for two days at police station in the city of Assa, before being transferred back to the Moroccan city of Agadir, where they expected to appear before the so-called prosecutor of the king.


The student Ahmed Abd Addaiam was isolated from the rest of his comrades, added the source.


It is noteworthy that the city of Zag witnessed on Wednesday mass vigils in front of headquarters of the so-called Moroccan gendarmerie, in solidarity with the three detainees. (SPS)
