National Council bureau concerned over appalling condition of Saharawi political prisoners

Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), April 3, 2013 (SPS) - Bureau of the Saharawi National Council has expressed concern over the appalling condition of Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan jails, especially the group of Gdeim Izik, in a statement concluded a meeting on Wednesday.


The statement conjured up the situation of Saharawi citizens in occupied Western Sahara following the blind repression wave carried out by Moroccan occupation forces against the unarmed masses of Saharawi people.


It deplored the gross violations of Saharawi women’s human rights by Moroccan security authorities in occupied Western Sahara.


On other hand, the meeting reviewed the projects and laws submitted to its next session, and determine the formulas to deal with them, in addition to the treaties and agreements signed by Saharawi state within the African Union. (SPS)
