Smara (Saharawi Refugee Camps) March26, 2013(SPS) - President of Saharawi Consultative Council (CCS) Moulay Bibatt said Tuesday that "Saharawis’ patience has reached its limits" considering their critical situation.
"Saharawi people’s patience has reached its limits and human rights abuses and Saharawi land usurpation can no longer be tolerated," Bibatt told reporters following a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Western Sahara Christopher Ross.
The chairman of the Saharawi Consultative Council underlined that Saharawi people "are not in a position to contain the impact of such a situation, after about 40 years of struggle and suffering."
The situation has become "unbearable and is a likely threat to peace and stability to the whole region."(SPS)
