Saharawi delegation partakes in the Arab sparing Youth Congress

Beirut (Lebanon) March19, 2013 (SPS) a delegation of the Saharawi Youth Organization (UJSARIO) participated in the Congress of Youth of Arab spring, took place from 15 to 17 March in the Lebanon capital Beirut and was  organized in collaboration between  the  Socialist  Youth Union and  the Britain Lobour Party.
  

The congress talked to issues related to international policy which gave opportunity to the Saharawi Youth representative, Hamdi Mohamed Yusef, to give presentation before the participants on the latest developments of the Saharawi issue in particular the situation of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and the Moroccan military trial and its unjust verdicts against 25 Saharawi political prisoners.
 

Hamdi also talked to the Saharawi protest camp of Gdeim Izik(October2010) near the occupied city of ElAyoune, which considers by  many thinkers including Naomi Chomsky as the firs spark of what became known as  the Arab spring.
 

The Sahrawi delegation held meetings on the sideline of the congress with personalities and leaders of Lebanon Parties such as meeting with president of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt and with president of the Peace Party, Roger Edde.(SPS)
