Namibia reaffirms its support to Saharawi people’s right to self-determination and independence

Windhoek (Namibia) March14, 2013(SPS) the Republic of Namibia reaffirmed its continued support to the right of the Saharawi People to self-determination and independence, this position has expressed by the  Namibian President Hifikepunye Pohamba, in a congratulatory message sent to  President of the Republic Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
 

“The people of the Republic of Namibia happily join me in extending to Your Excellency and the people of Western Sahara our warmest congratulations on the auspicious occasion of your 36th celebration of the liberated territories of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.” reads the letter of the Namibian President.
 

“I wish to, once again, reaffirm the continued support of the Government and people of Namibia for the full exercise by the Saharawi people of their inalienable right to self-determination and national independence.”
 

“In this context, we reiterate our demand for the immediate and unconditional implementation of the UN Plan for Western Sahara.” added President Hifikepunye in his message to President Mohamed Abdel Aziz. (SPS)
