Members of the delegation expressed their disapproval to this violation by Moroccan occupation authorities at El Aaiun airport.

“Moroccan occupation authorities tried hard to stop us even from getting off the plane,” said one of the activists.

He added that the journey they made to the occupied territories of Western Sahara did not go in vain, because it exposed the policies being carried out by Morocco against international observers in the occupied Western Sahara.

Despite all harassment we faced, said the activist, we organized a vigil at El Aaiun airport in solidarity with the Saharawi political prisoners of Gdeim izik.
