Cairo, Feb 16, 2013 (SPS) - A group of Saharawi students, currently study in the Arab Republic of Egypt, organized after Friday Prayer a sit-in, in which they denounced the Moroccan military trial, underway for the eighth day, of the 24 Saharawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik.
The sit-in, which organized at Tahrir Square in the capital Cairo, was attended by dozens of Egyptian citizens who refuse the confiscation of the Arab human’s right to freedom and expression.
The demonstrators chanted slogans denouncing the trial.
A panel discussion was opened to clarify the background of this vigil for dozens of the Egyptian people and media.
During the panel discussion, a group of petitioners condemned the trial, deploring the campaign of systematic Moroccan human rights suffered by the Sahrawi people. (SPS)
