The Government decides to reduce visits of foreigners to refugee camps and liberated territories due to situation in Mali

 Shahid Al Hafed, January23, 2013 (SPS) - The Government of the Saharawi Arab Republic has decided to reduce visits of foreigners to the Saharawi refugee camps and liberated territories  "given to  the war situation in Mali and its possible negative impact  on security and stability in the region,” said Wednesday a press release issued by  the Ministry of Cooperation.
 

"The  Saharawi authorities and the Polisario Front  have taken a number of preventive temporary  measures  including reduce of visits of foreigner guests  to the  Saharawi refugee camps and the  liberated territories  and   reinforcement of security measures on resident  foreigners , " says the Ministry of Cooperation.
 

 The ministry appreciates "the understanding of all those friends affected by these measures."
 

 Finally, the Ministry reiterated that the security situation in the refugee camps and in the liberated areas of Western Sahara is completely normal”. (SPS)
