Resumption of visits between Saharawi families from Wednesday

Shahid Alhafed  (Saharawi refugee camps), January 22, 2012 (SPS) -  the resumption of   visits of Saharawi families  between the Occupied Territories and the Saharawi refugee camps,  will restart on Wednesday, Jan. 23, according to a statement from the Office of the  Saharawi coordinator with  the MINURSO.

 

The office indicated that the technical problems that prevented the functioning of the program last week have been surpassed and therefore, the program will continue in its natural form, the usual starting on Wednesday.
 

The exchange visits between Saharawi families on both sides of Moroccan military wall, is a program supervised by the UNHCR and aims to enable many Sahrawi families from the occupied territories of Western Sahara and their relatives from the Saharawi refugee Camps near Tindouf(Algeria) to meet after more than 30 years of separation  due to Moroccan invasion of Western Sahara, since 1975,(SPS)
