Dakhla (occupied territories), Dec 31, 2012 (SPS) - The occupied city of Dakhla witnessed Saturday the organization of several demonstrations calling for the withdrawal of Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara, according to Saharawi media sources.

“Dozens of Saharawis poured to the streets of Akseikimat, Um Tunsi and Algufran to denounce the acts of repression carried out by Moroccan occupying authorities against the Saharawis, especially the recent repression on the Saharawis students in Moroccan University of Marrakech,” said the Saharawi human rights activist Mohamed Al-Beikam.

The demonstrators chanted pro-POLISARIO and independence slogans, and called on all the Saharawi rights activists to safeguard their national unity.

Moroccan authorities, in turn, violently dispersed them, the same source underlined. (SPS)
