International conference on peoples’ right to resistance, December 15bth- 16th in Algiers

Algiers, Dec 10, 2012 (SPS) - The third international conference on “the right of peoples to resistance: the case of the Saharawi people” will be held on 15th and 16th December 2012 in Algiers, announced Sunday the Algerian National Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi people (CNASPS).


The conference will be attended by Algerian and international figures, as well as Saharawi activists of human rights from the occupied Saharawi territories and observers accompanying the rights delegation, indicated the source.


Several interventions are listed on the agenda of this conference, including “the blatant violations of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara” and “the conflict of Western Sahara and international law”.


Other topics such as; “the European Union and France in the Western Sahara conflict”, “the organized plundering of Western Sahara wealth” and “the lack of humanitarian assistance to the Saharawi refugees”, are also on the agenda.


The 3rd International Conference on Peoples’ Right to Resistance; the Case of the Saharawi People, which is organized by the Algerian National Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi people (CNASPS), will come up with a final communiqué. (SPS)
