Conference in Swedish Parliament on looting natural resources of Western Sahara

Stockholm (Sweden) Dicember5, 2012(SPS) a conference held in the Swedish Parliament on last Tuesday, focused on the looting of Western Sahara’s natural resources and illegal exploitation of these resources by Moroccan occupation, according to the Polisario Representation  in Sweden.   
      

The conferences was attended by politicians and representatives of several Swedish parties in addition to president of the foreign affairs committee in the Swedish Parliament, Orban Ahline .   
 

The participants in this conference urged EU to exclude all producers that exported from the occupied Western Sahara from any trade agreement with Morocco that any exploitation of natural resources of Western Sahara violates the international law which does not recognize Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara in addition to the rewards of theses goods don’t benefit the Saharawi people, but in contrary complicated the conflict.
 

The conference stressed that any agreement between the European Union and Morocco should follow the Agreement between the United States and Morocco which clearly exclude natural resources and any goods of occupied Western Sahara.
 

The conference emphasized on the need to mobilize  the public  Opinion of Sweden and Europe in generally    to make sure that  Moroccan exports to Europe don’t include goods or resources from Western Sahara.(SPS)
