President arrives in Mexico for inauguration of new Mexican President-elect

Mexico City (Mexico), Nov 30, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, arrived early Friday morning at Benito Juarez’s International Airport in Mexico City, capital of the United States of Mexico, to attend the official inauguration of the new President-elect Enrique Peña Nieto, scheduled for Saturday, 1st December 2012.


The President was received at the Airport by the Advisor Mr. PEDRO GONZALEZ OLVERA, the Director General for Africa and the Middle East at Mexican Foreign Ministry along with the Vice-Director of the Protocol Mr. MIGUEL ÁNGEL PADÍA and Deputy Director for Middle East at Mexican Foreign Ministry.


The Saharawi Embassy in Mexico will organize a reception for the President Mohamed Abdelaziz and the delegation accompanying him, in the presence of members of the House of Senates and Representatives, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Mexico, members of the movement of solidarity with the Saharawi people, as well as representative of Mexican media.


The President of the Republic will attend this afternoon, along with heads of states and delegations participating at Mr. Nieto’s inauguration ceremony, a dinner hosted by the outgoing President of Mexico Mr. Felipe Calderón.


The President is accompanied by the Minister for Latin America Mr. Hash Ahmed Barikala, Ambassador in Mexico Mr. Ahmed Mulay Ali, the Advisor to the Presidency Mr. Abdati Breika and First Secretary of SADR Embassy in Mexico Mr. Mohamed Salem Mohamed Mbarek.


The ceremony will take place tomorrow, Saturday, in the presence of more than 136 delegations; including 9 heads of states and 110 heads of delegations at various levels, in addition to 26 international organizations. (SPS)
