President of Republic expresses Solidarity with US after Hurricane Sandy

Bir Lehlou (liberated territories)  Oct 31, 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has sent today a message of solidarity  to the President of the United States, Barack Obama after megastorm Sandy's march of destruction claimed at least 55 lives in the U.S.

 

"I would like to address to you this letter, on behalf of the Sahrawi
Government and people, to express our full solidarity with the
American people and Government in the wake of the damages and losses
caused by Hurricane Sandy across several states on the US eastern
coast and other countries of the region.


I would also like to convey our condolences and deepest sympathies to
the families that have lost loved ones because of this hurricane.


We are confident that the Government and the people of the United
States will be able to recover rapidly from the devastating effects of
this natural disaster.
