President of Republic condoles Cuban counterpart on natural disaster

Bir Lehlou (refugee camps), Oct 29, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the POLISARIO Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has sent a letter to the President of Cuba Raúl Castro, in which he expressed his deep condolences to the government and people of Cuba after Hurricane Sandy stroke Cuba.


“After the Hurricane Sandy passed by the brotherly Republic of Cuba, we have followed with deep concern the news broadcasted on national and international media on the human and material damage. First of all, let me express on behalf of the government and people of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic my full solidarity and deepest condolences and through you to the government and people of Cuba, especially families of the victims,” wrote the President Mohamed Abdelaziz in his letter to Cuban President.


President Mohamed Abdelaziz reiterated firm belief that the heroic Cuban people, as well demonstrated in other severe and harsh conditions, will know how to cope and deal appropriately with a disaster that is not the first of its kind in the history of Cuba. (SPS)
