Dili, Oct 15, 2012 (SPS) - The Foreign Minister of East Timor has reiterated on Tuesday the country’s full support for struggle of Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, said the Saharawi Embassy in Deli.

Timorese Foreign Minister underlined during a meeting with the Saharawi Ambassador, Mohamed Salama Badi, that Timor’s position has been clearly reflected in its intervention at the UN Fourth committee, recalling it is based on a common history of resistance to colonialism.

The two parties discussed issues of mutual interest particularly the gross human rights volitions committed by Moroccan occupied forces in Saharawi occupied territories as well as the negotiations and intransigent position of Morocco. (SPS)
