POLISARIO attends Slovenian Development Days in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, Oct 5, 2012 (SPS) - The Representative of the POLISARIO to Balkans Countries Mr. Malainin Mohamed Bagada has attended the Slovenian Development Days, jointly organized from 4 to 5 October 2012 by the Slovenian Foreign Affairs Ministry and Platform of ONGs engaging in international development, cooperation and humanitarian aid (SLOGA).


On the sidelines of the event, the Saharawi Ambassador held several meetings with the State Secretary of the Secretariat for European Affairs of Macedonia, Mr. Jovan Andonovski, Director General at the Directorate for International Development, Cooperation and Humanitarian Assistance at Slovenian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Mitja Štrukelj, Chairman of the Slovenian Parliament’s External Relations Committee, Mr. Josef Harvart, and the President of SLOGA, Ms. Eva Marn, according to sources of the POLISARIO Representation to Balkan.


He also met the ambassadors of Angola, Switzerland, Romania, Venezuela, Spain and the Consul General of Madagascar.


These meetings allowed the Saharawi Representative to inform his interlocutors about the current situation of Western Sahara conflict, particularly the continued violation of human rights in the occupied territories of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic. (SPS)
