Families of Saharawi political prisoners organize peaceful demonstration in occupied Dakhla

Dakhla (Occupied Territories), Oct 04, 2012 (SPS) - The families of the Saharawi political prisoners "Group of Dakhla" has organized a peaceful demonstration in the occupied city, calling for the immediate and unconditional release of their sons, said source from the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

 

The Saharawi families strongly condemned the violent assault committed by the warden of the Moroccan Black jail (occupied city of  El Aaiun) against their sons.

 

According to the source, the torture and mistreatment the Saharawi political prisoners face comes as revenge for their meeting with. the UN Rapporteur on Torture Juan Mendez.

 

Furthermore , the families of the Saharawi political prisoners in occupied Dakhla stageda peaceful sit-in protest before the so called “the Moroccan National Council for Human Rights” to denounce the brutal attack and demand the accountability of the warden.

 

The peaceful sit in marked by tight security siege imposed by the Moroccan occupying forces. (SPS)
