Shahid Alhafed(Saharawi refugee caps) June 12,2012(SPS) international symposium on the rights of the Saharawi child will be organized from 17,18 and19june2012 in the Saharawi refugee camps in the collaboration of the Saharawi youth Organization(UJSARIO)and the Saharawi Union of Jurists with the coordination of the Algerian advisory Committee to promote and protect human rights.
The preparatory committee of this conference held today a meeting the under chairmanship of Secretary General of the Saharawi Youth Organization, Musa Salma and Secretary General of the Saharawi Union of Jurists, Abba Alhaisen, to discuss latest preparations to success this international symposium.
The international conference entitled “the Saharawi child between current situation and international charters” will attended by representatives of the Italy Council for Human rights, UNHCR, Algerian Network for child’s rights (Nada), the Algerian committee for youth and Health and the association of Victims of landmines in addition to Algerian parliamentarians, artists and figures as well as Sahrawi organizations and international media.
According to the organizers the conference aims to distribute culture of human rights especially Child’s rights to increase international awareness about the situation of the Saharawi child in refugee camps and in the occupied territories of Western Sahara. (SPS)
