President of Republic accuses Moroccan intelligence services to attempt to link Saharawi people struggle to terrorism

 DAkhla (Saharawi refugee camps) June12, 2012(SPS) – President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz accused the Moroccan intelligence services of "attempting to compromise the struggle of the Saharawi people by linking it to terrorism and drug trafficking.

"The Moroccan intelligence services are trying to undermine the struggle of the Saharawi people by linking it to terrorism and drug trafficking," said the president in his speech at the end of meeting of political commissars of the Polisario Front in held in Dakhla from 9 to June112012.

On this occasion, President Abdelaziz called on leaders of the Polisario Front to lead by example and to show dedication.

"We must remember, in this circumstance, the sacrifices of the Sahrawi activists," including those who are languishing in prisons of the enemy, he said.

The president recalled in this context, the situation of the Saharawi prisoners while condemning the "cowardly" assassination of Sahrawi activist Hamdi Tarfaoui.

He, also, raised the case of the martyr Said Dember indicating that the Moroccan Government has committed a crime through the removal of the remains of the martyr and his burial unbeknownst to his family in an undisclosed location.(SPS)
