President of Republic consoles Nigerian counterpart over plane crash

Bir Lehlou, June, 05, 2012 (SPS) - President of Republic and Secretary General of Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz on Monday has sent  a condolence letter to his Nigerian counterpart, over the plane crash in Lagos which left 153 people died.

 

Below is the full text:

 

"Excellency and Dear Brother,

 

It is with great shock and sadness that the government and people of the Saharawi Republic learned of the Nigerian plane crash on Sunday evening, 03 June 2012, which is reported, unfortunately,  to have claimed the lives of more than 150 people.

 

On this very sad moment, on behalf of the  Government and people of the Saharawi Republic, allow me to convey to Your Excellency and through you to the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, my deepest sympathy and profound condolences for such a huge loss in this most unfortunate and tragic accident.

 

Accordingly, during those difficult moments of mourning and sadness, we can only but share in the pain and sorrow of the Nigerian People. Our thoughts and prayers necessarily reach out to the entire Nigerian nation and in particular members of the bereaved families.

 

Please accept, Your Excellency and Dear Brother, the assurances of my highest consideration and most heartfelt condolences." (SPS)
