Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), Feb 6, 2012 (SPS) - “The kidnapping of the Italian national, Ms. Rossella Urru, will not stop the Italian support and solidarity to the Saharawi cause and refugees,” stated Ms. Sara Malvagi, who arrived Sunday accompanying by a delegation in the Saharawi refugee camps.

Ms. Malvagi expressed solidarity and sympathy with families of the three hostages, stressing on the need to exert much pressure on the international community at the political and diplomatic levels for their release.

“There should launch a large campaign by Italian bodies and institutions to raise awareness about the Saharawi cause in Italy, because the people do not know much about the Western Sahara question, especially what is going on in the occupied territories and the gross violations of human rights committed by the Moroccan authorities against the Saharawi citizens,” she underlined.
