Tunis, Jan 17, 2012 (SPS) - Algerian President, Abdelaziz Buteflika, underlined in Tunisia his country is ready to resume building the Arab Maghreb Union in the framework of respect for international law, in speech on the sidelines of first anniversary of Tunisian revolution that led to the fall of Ben Ali.
“We are convinced about the need to resume the construction of the Arab Maghreb Union in the framework of respect for international law,” said Mr. Buteflika .
Algerian President welcomed the progress of democracy in the region, asserting “we are confident that progress in our region is sufficient to open the door to the resumption of construction of the Maghreb Arab Union,” (SPS)
