Managua: State Minister meets with Heads of State and political figures

Managua, Jan 12, 2012 (SPS) - State Minister and the Special Envoy of President of the Republic , Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed, Tuesday, met with heads of state and political figures taking part at inauguration of Nicaraguan President, Mr. Daniel Ortega, according to source from SADR embassy in Nicaragua.

the Special Envoy met with Presidents of Suriname, Haiti, Iran, Venezuela, Honduras, Prince of Spain, Prime Minister of Belize, the vice-presidents of Nicaragua and Peru.

He also met with President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, President of the Algerian Parliament, Foreign Ministers of Mexico and Nicaragua, Deputy Ministers of Colombia and Japan.

Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed conveyed thanks and gratitude of the President Mohamed Abdelaziz and Sahrawi people to President of Nicaragua, Mr. Daniel Ortega.

Nicaragua recognized the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic on September 6, 1979, and currently maintains diplomatic relations at the highest level.(SPS)
