Foreign Minister received by President of Islamic Republic of Mauritania

Nouakchott, Nov 21, 2011 (SPS) - The Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, received Sunday at presidential palace in Nouakchott by the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.

During the meeting, head of the Saharawi diplomacy expressed deep satisfaction for the relations existing between the Saharawi and Mauritanian peoples and for good handling and neighborhood.

He informed his locator about the developments on the Saharawi question in the regional and international level, focusing on the hot situation in the Saharawi occupied territories.

Mr. Ould Salek appreciated the efforts made by the brotherly Mauritania in the framework of the bilateral coordination and cooperation with the Saharawi Republic in various fields, expressing hope to deepen the bonds of relations between the two peoples.

During the meeting, the Saharawi Minister addressed a letter from the SADR President President, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, to his Mauritanian counterpart, Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz. (SPS)
